About the Event

CHEWY SHE is a trash-electro-disco band, mixing the spontaneity of punk with fat electro bass and showing off the grooves of disco. CHEWY SHE is as well a wonky carnival, a Lynchian utopia, which radiates innocence despite its absurdist critiques of the modern world.
Their EP Run After Boyz is an expression of freedom, sex positivity, spirituality, and feminism. CHEWY speaks out loud for all the womxn and men of today who follow their own desires, f*ck the patriarchy and build their own ecstasy. This spirit is best expressed at their live shows, which feature exuberant costume, supreme musicianship, fascinating backing dancing, and the initiation of all present into the darkly ironical, theatrical, and immersive universe of CHEWY SHE.
" I am a huge fan of their playing and musicality , bonkers and beautiful" Cerys Matthews , BBC Radio 6.
" weird and wonderful " Jess Iszatt, BBC London.
" A musical force" Chilly Gonzalez
Formed by two brothers, Dogshow create genre-fluid high-intensity dance music. Using live drums, analogue synths and home-made lighting equipment the duo explore dance music, free from sequencers, leaving them space to shift tempo dynamically in the moment.
Dogshow are co-founders of Liverpool’s Kazimier Club and Invisible Wind Factory venues in Liverpool, with many years making their own parties, understanding the dynamic of dance floors, and the power of live music to elevate energy in the room. Having trained in jazz musicianship, Dogshow becomes a true organic experience for ravers and music lovers alike.
Their new stage show is an immersive mind-melting experience for clubs and festivals having originated during lockdown restrictions when the duo played a series of rogue outdoor shows in shopping centres, parks and street corners.
Dogshow's new EP ‘The C’ is out on Berlin’s Hot Creations label in February 2023.
