About the Event

Things That Move are inviting some of our nearest n dearest scintillating selectors to throw it down for our second party this year ⭐

Pat & Micky have returned from Silbury Hill, Europe’s largest man-made prehistoric mound after three years of intense study; they are inspired and are going to show us what they have learnt with an hour of of sonic chalk and soil.

Zoe Pea fresh off the back of an NTS choice pick will be blessing your ears with long jazz numbers and whatever she darn feels like. Co-founder of Narr radio in Leeds, now London based, she has a far reaching taste and a fine palate. She will lap up the lad’s chalk and soil and turn it into a sculpture of sound you could never have foreseen.

Wakaplate juggles big beats and sexy selections for all sorts of funny business. Pace yourself cos he'll make you dance to all sorts of grooves.

24joy will chug chug chug his way into eventual big hitters. Expect bass to be rumbling your belly in a warm and reassuring manner, holding you tightly on the dancefloor, for the outside world will seem scary when 24Joy is at the controls.

Lila is travelling all the way down from Leeds to give us some heart-of-the-dance Bruk and UKFunky flavours. Her Braindance parties get crowds bubblin and we're excited to witness her whip yous into shape.

Loose FM resident DJ STANK’s primary mode of musical expression is at the drum kit. Playing with the likes of Common Sound, Narciso and Memsis Stank, he has developed a taste for percussive sounds across the musical spectrum. This eclectic soul will not sound droll, what he plays next is always unexpected and laden with risk.

“Don’t put music in boxes, especially not my music” - Ginger Baker, 2012.
