Workers across the UK Higher Education Sector are striking for 18 days over February and March in disputes over pay, conditions and pensions.Across universities, workers’ pay has been cut, pensions have been slashed, workloads are spiralling, gender, race and disability pay gaps remain scandalously high, and tens of thousands of staff are employed on insecure contracts - all in a sector that generates tens of billions of pounds each year.
SOAS UCU Members are participating in the wave of industrial action across the UK to save higher education. See more about the strikes at SOAS and how to support striking staff at the SOAS UCU website - direct donations at the website also welcome!
