Esteban Card: presents a distinctive twist on folkloric Colombian music. His innovative mixture of ancestral drums and organic contemporary sounds represents a forward-facing musical identity with a trance-inducing soundscape. His debut album INELEMENTUM channels Colombia’s African heritage via Bullerengue, Cumbia and Tambora rhythms, with a thought-provoking modern-day awareness. His AfroColombiaBeat production stamp has been embraced by audiences across the UK, at venues including Rich Mix, Wilderness Festival, Hootananny, Juju’s Bar, Arts By The Sea Festival, Lola MC and met with critical acclaim by tastemakers Gilles Peterson and Alex Wharton.
KuisiTambó: is a Gaita Social Club, PROPER CUUUUMBIAAA! (Gaita: Colombian Native Flute) They are working to maintain a raizal legacy and in search of preserving the most traditional sounds, Kuisitambo GSC comes with a repertoire of songs by the most influential masters of Colombian folklore in a classic "rueda de gaita" lineup, among the musicians belonging to this movement we can find exceptional exponents of the drum, and the native Colombian wind instruments.
VOLTA 45: a Ghanaian born, London based record collector, DJ, writer, archivist and creative head of the The Goldenstool Project. He travels the world digging for records which would have been otherwise forgotten in time. His musical style is heavily influenced by Jazz, and is very percussive; playing a distinctive mix of afro funk, jazz, highlife and African influenced sounds from South America and beyond, making him one of the most sought after DJs on the afro scene in London.
