POLLITO BOOGALOO
Translated as little dancing chicken, the Pollito Boogaloo boys deliver raw Afro-Colombian roots music drawing from classic 60s Cumbia, Vallenato and Puya and mixing in a little dub and some Haitian voodoo! Fronted by the charismatic Colombian Rafael Berrio they are one of Brighton’s hottest Latino outfits regularly tearing up all nighters in some of the south coast’s smokiest basements. Their heavyweight sound is totally infectious, irresistibly danceable.
@mul.kala and @brixton_cumbia_association will be the picante appetisers to start this “Salpicón”. @amancaidj and @suma_phayiri will be seasoning the environment…
