Los Tekis 🇦🇷🇧🇴

Los Tekis will be performing for the very first time in London at The Post Bar on the 26th of May 2023!

Los Tekis, which means "boys" in Quichua, are 5 Argentine musicians with more than 30 years of experience. They have a child-like energy with which they recreate the carnival energy of the land Jujuy (in North Argentina and Bolivia) everywhere go. 

Their music consists of rhythms such as  ‘carnavalito’s, ‘bailecito’s, ‘huaynos’ and ‘taquiraris’. They use native instruments such as ‘sikus’, ‘panpipes’, ‘quenas’ and ‘charangos’. 

The province of Jujuy lives their carnival intensely with its beliefs, myths, color, dance, which are renewed year after year to preserve this unique tradition.
