Simo Lagnawi S.I.M.O, the Ambassador of Gnawa Culture in UK and charismatic creator; he is the leader of Gnawa Blues All Stars gracing our stage on 20th of April 2024!

He plays the traditional Gnawa (sacred music from Africa Morocco) and New Age Trance, Blues, Jazz, Reggae & Afrobeat.

With Gnawa Blues Allstars, Simo continuously pushes new boundaries fusing Gnawa with sounds from countries such as Gambia, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, India, Japan, Venezuela and the Caribbean. Always invite special guest musicians playing with the band!

Simo has featured on the BBC Proms, CNN World, BBC 3 ,Vox Africa and countles radios and magazines around the world. He has performed at  festivals including Glastonbury, Womad festival, Secret Garden Party, Latitude and Boom Town and abroad in countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Morocco and the USA.
