NANDO ARIAS

Born in London to Colombian parents, Nando is a multi instrumentalist as well as a prolific Accordian player in the London scene and beyond. He picked up the instrument in his youth, the starring role in so much Colombian folklore music like vallenatos, which literally translates to ‘born in the valley’. Nando’s repertoire and talent is nothing short of essential for this Colombian Independence Day celebration.

ISSA

Issa is a London born singer of Colombian heritage. She has shaped her sound around her love for Neo-Soul and Jazz alongside the Latin music she grew up listening to. Her buttery soulful vocals and her personal renditions of some of our favourite Colombian Classics will take you on an unforgettable journey.

LUZMIRA ZERPA

Undisputed queen of Afro-Latin fusion, Venezuelan cuatro player and vocalist Luzmira Zerpa will be gracing the stage with The Bonita House Band. She has toured globally with her original material, more recently a direct nod to costal sounds such as ‘musica llanera, which she executes powerfully and authentically. Zerpa is A beacon of light in the Londons Latin Music scene.

DJ Amancai is a Colombian-born DJ based in South London. Amancai is a faithful advocate of South American music and artists with a particular love for Afro Caribbean music which is clear with her delectable sancocho selection of Electro Tropical, Cumbia, Afrobeats and Latin Funk & more. Amancai has played at: FLAWA (Festival of Latin American Women in Arts), LatinoLife festival, Hootananny, The Jago, The Post Bar, Peckham Levels, Folklore

DESTA

LatinX artist Desta French will be heating up the decks with a Selection of Salsa Classics, old and new.

ALMA DE LA SELVA

Santiago Morales aka Alma De La Selva is a Colombian producer, record collector & percussionist. Making a name for himself amongst various UK underground scenes, from Hip-Hop to Jazz and Latinx circles, his approach to production is original and his connection to nature and the motherland is palpable in his work. It is a spiritual and contemplative search that travels through water based sonic ambiences, to tracks that bounce over bass lines, from indigenous chants and rainsticks, to ritual dances around fire. Elements of rap, jazz, latin, psychodelia, and more make De La Selva a unique sonic experience from its detail and spiritual impact.

BUSHBBY

Bushbby is a London born and based Colombian DJ, artist, producer and event promoter who explores the sounds and roots of Latin American music.

Since 2019, she has quickly established herself as one of London’s Latin music scene’s torchbearers, showcasing an explosive blend of Dancehall, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Champeta and Dembow, inspired by the Colombian-Caribbean and UK sound systems she grew up around.
