After the sellout success at Desta French's debut at the legendary The Jazz Café and the pura CANDELA at the after party with Bushbby on the decks, the pair had no other option but to revive the energy from that night in the New Year!

Fronted by Desta French, the independent LatinX artist making waves with original projects like ‘San Lazarus’ and ‘Bendecida’. She’s the first UK Born LatinX artist to be played on BBC1extra with an all Spanish song with ‘Aguanta’ and burst out of 2021 with a bang after selling out the Jazz cafe in November. To start off 2022 she’s joining us on behalf of her new music Collective and culture platform ‘Bonita’ created with Colombian producer Santiago Morales (Alma De La Selva). The 7 piece Bonita house Band along with Desta will be taking us through a selection of Golden Era Latin songs that have influenced them and adding their own Bonita/ London sauce to the mix. ✹ 𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐀𝟒𝟐𝐎 ✹ NieLaa is a up and coming Colombian singer and rapper based in the UK. She combines Spanish lyrics over R&B and Trap infused beats, making for something fresh on the UK Latinx music scene! Drawing influence from her musical family, her Grandad playing the guitar and her dad being a salsa percussionist as well as her transformative trip to Colombia in 2017, Nielaa420 is definitely a unique and exciting voice to watch out for.

✹ 𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐀 𝐃𝐄 𝐋𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐀 ✹ Santiago Morales aka Alma De La Selva is a Colombian producer, record collector & percussionist. Making a name or himself amongst various UK underground scenes, from Hip-Hop to Jazz and Latinx circles, his approach to production is original and his connection to nature and the motherland is palpable in his work. It is a spiritual and contemplative search, that travels through water based sonic ambiences, to tracks that bounce over bass lines, from indigenous chants and rainsticks, to ritual dances around fire. Elements of rap, jazz, latin, psychodelia, and more make De La Selva a unique sonic experience from its detail and spiritual impact.
