About the Event
Bullerengue circle hosted by London-based collective fostering the AfroColombian tradition of bullerengue as a conscious practice.
Bullerengue is an ancestral AfroColombian tradition that, through repetitive mantra-like choruses, drums, clapping and singing, induces a natural trance. This art form connects us to rhythm, the primordial energy of life which is present in everything we do including our thoughts and emotions.
A space to express, release and heal through music and movement.
Come along to find your rhythm and voice by becoming part of a collective chant! The bullerengue circle will be part of the crowdfunding event Honoring afro indigenous abya yala - raíces vivas
Get ready for a day of music, art & resistance—all in solidarity with Esmeraldas, Ecuador.
Join us for a powerful celebration of Afro-descendant heritage, community life & cultural joy. Every ticket, donation & artwork sold supports the Esmeraldas Solidarity Project, aiding communities impacted by recent oil spills. 🌍🖤
