About the Event

Bouche presents the first in a new adventure of live shows. This Sunday 19th of May from 6pm LOVE MACHINE #1 - featuring: NiCKY @nickyharris92 NiCKY  is beauty and pathos and generous performance, all wrapped up in the  confectionary delight of Pierrot's shimmering vibrancy. You never know  whether you're laughing or crying, and it's usually both. Intimate as a  dimly lit cabaret, NiCKY plays his love songs, laments and lullabies  gorgeously on solo piano with his tender, rich vocals singing us the  stories over the top. It's a treat every time, don't miss it! R.AGGS @r4ggs R.AGGS  (also of Sacred Paws, Trash Kit, Shopping) is pure joy. Delicious,  heart-pumping beats, euphoric sunshine guitar, balmy vocals and YAY  FIDDLE!, their songs are souls on their sleeve, full of warmth and  possibility. Their sound is lo-fi-post-punk-pop with essences of older  grooves that seep in through tapes in the walkman and fiddle tunes round  the fire. It's hard to describe music so uniquely theirs; say yes and  feel it for your own self. Bouche @bouchemusic @fayejams @mr_ammos It's  a brand new thing, what can I say? The bass is now electric, the songs  are about joy, power, sensuality. The band will be different every time,  and for this debut, I'm over-the-moon lucky to be joined by Ayman  Sinada (Sokkyo, Cityscape Ensemble) making you move on drums, and Faye  Thompson (Faker Villain, Neue Grafik Ensemble) with texture, tone,  tenderness and time-travel on sax. It'll be wild, it'll be fresh, it'll  be the best of all if you're there. Island Girl @island_____girl Sending  us heavenward and taking us home, Island Girl will be spinning records  and keeping us up and at it after the bands. It could be reggae, rock  steady, dub; it might be sixties hip-shakers from a long-ago houseparty;  it might be undeniable house classics from the haul that landed on the  doorstep one day and turned out to be gold. Let's see how she feels, but  whatever the mood, nobody fills a floor with love like the maestro. Poster artwork by @8bitfaz Bouche promo photography by @deniz_kavalali
