We are back folks with yet another juicy event THIS MONTH!
Join us at The Post Bar in Tottenham on 27th January for a night of music and dance for another important cause!
This time, all funds raised will go directly to supporting those affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan. In 2022, torrential rain left more than a 3rd of Pakistan submerged, leaving around 33 million people impacted, destroying over 287,000 homes and damaging another 662,000.
All proceeds will go towards trusted charities working on the ground in Pakistan to provide relief to those affected by the floods.
Gracing us with their musical presence will be…
Lokandes: Lokandes formed their name through the combination of two words: 'Crazy' and 'Andes' which represents the intention of their music - crazy music from the Andes. The project aims to create a fusion of traditional roots and Afro-Andean music with other contemporary music styles such as Funk, Latin, Reggae, Jazz, and Cumbia. Lokandes will be bringing the Afro-Andean latin grooves!!
Shivum Sharma: Shivum is an Indian-Irish DJ, producer, singer, songwriter, and radio host from London. Shivum has received strong support from Radio 1 (Annie Mac & Hottest Track on previous releases, Maida Vale & Live Piano Sessions), 1Xtra (Named Jamz Supernova’s No1 EP), also support from 6Music & Radio 2. Collaborations include house producer TCTS & remixes from Kindness & Joe Goddard. In addition, Shivum is an incredible DJ who has regularly been playing out on the London LGBTQ+ club circuit & has represented collectives & nights including Boiler Room, Daytimers, Pxssy Palace, Hungama, Keep Hush & Bitten Peach.
Mahnoor: DJ and founder of SUP? SUPPER CLUB, Mahnoor is a person of many talents and we're so happy she's brining not only her rhythmic beats to our evening, but also her strong sense of social justice. Bringing influences from her British Pakistani heritage, and her youth growing up in London, Mahnoor mixes a range of genres centred around bass, dubs and drums.
So come down, have a boogie and a bev, and support communities in need at the same time!
