AMAPIANO x AFRORAVE - Toya Delazy + Sofi Mlow

Join us for a night of South African-focused music with  two of the prime exponents of the #Afrorave and #Amapiano sound in London

Zulu musician Toya Delazy @toyadelazy has been smashing down musical and cultural boundaries with aplomb, playing sold out shows across London, to Glastonbury, Mixmag or Keep Hush. From hefty 200bpm pounding to extraordinarily complex polyrhythms, her beats and rhymes are multilingual, multicultural, multidimensional.

Her music transcend racial lines with messages of self-awareness, free expression and empowerment. Her most recent release: Afrorave Vol. 1 is concerned with universal suffering, social commentary and enhancing the lives of all people, taking Afro-rave away from being a purely black concept and interweaving it into ideas of the ‘other’.

Sofia Lopez AKA Sofi Mlow @sofymlow, started out as a DJ in the UK Latin scene in 2021. She’s been performing almost every weekend since at clubs in London and internationally. She has opened for renowned acts such as DJ Melzi, Mellow & Sleazy, Ñengo Flow, Lil Gnar and Jay Music.

Sofi currently specialises in Amapiano & Reggaeton  in a proportion of 80% / 20% respectively!
